The largest British cruiser of World War Two, HMS Belfast had an eventful career which included being badly damaged by a mine and taking part in the sinking of the Scharnhorst. Postwar the ship fought in Korea and was later completely modernised. She is now preserved as a museum ship in the Pool of London.
